Sport and holiday in summer

Cycling, Rafting, Hiking, Walking, Hang-Gliding…

If you do not want to miss exercising during your holidays even, you can use all the facilities offered by our fitness room, or tennis, squash and boccia courts. From spring through autumn, you can explore the neighbourhood riding along either heavy mountain paths or easy routes by the lakes.

Out of the popular fun sports, we have remarkable selections too. Our exclusive hall provides opportunities for playing pool, table football, darts or table tennis. You can play cards, table games, and chess – whatever you need to enjoy yourself in a company during the night.

Our hotel has its own sports and boccia courts, a bowling room with two lanes, and an air hockey table.

Take deep breaths, and feel how all your bones renew. Swim in the crystal clear lakes, try water skiing, rafting along the wild streams, floating above ground with a hang-glider, or walk through the rifts – make exercises a form of art.

Golf enthusiast can feed their passion on the 18-hole "Kaiserburg" golf course occupying 60 hectares and located within the village. This course belongs to Austria's most famous ones; in 2005, it was awarded the Carinthian "Top of the Mountain" prize.

Carithia in Summer

In summer Carinthia is the region of lakes. The lakes glow turquoise blue and the water is warm. Children play on the shores, couples take romantic strolls and active types let off steam swimming, waterskiing or surfing.
And if you want to see the lakes from a different perspective, all you have to do is climb a mountain and look down into the valley over the wonderful Carinthian landscape. A landscape with 1,270 areas of still water, 200 swimming lakes, 8,000 kilometres of rivers and numerous mineral springs. All of these turn Austria’s most southerly province into a true water paradise. But do visitors to Carinthia really know all that the lakes have to offer? No, because with all the new holiday ideas even Carinthian professionals can take a fresh look at the lakes this summer.
